Confident Queso comes closer to Misha May foster mom!

Queso has been in his foster home for 3 weeks and 2 days and has shown steady progress from hiding behind a table to now greeting his foster at the door. His safe distance has decreased a room size but he doesn't indicate that he wants to be handled just yet. Patience, time and love lead to healing.

Sugar & pups meet Misha May volunteers at Libby & Matt's safe haven

Misha May volunteers Doug, Ann, Melissa and Lorraine will help Matt & Libby transport Sugar & her pups to their Misha May foster home with Kelly & Tim and family.

The pups are most likely 3-4 weeks old and doing great. We'll keep you posted about adoption schedules for mom and pups. If you are interested in adoption, please submit an application from our website.

Also, if you would like to donate to their care, please use the Make a Donation button at www.mishamayfoundation.org or mail a check to Misha May, PO Box 151166, Lakewood, CO 80215-1166.

Misha May's Sugar and her hungry pups!

Sugar, a terrier mix mom, and her 6 pups were saved by Matt & Libby from a precarious situation. Certainly they would not have survived. This video shows them blossoming and getting stronger at the couple's home.

Sugar, a nicer dog you won't meet, will be available for adoption around the end of July in the Denver area. The puppies will be ready in August or as soon as we have them spayed and neutered. Applications can be found, and donations for their care can be made, at www.mishamayfoundation.org.
